This page contains the minutes from the 05/23/2005 basketball board meeting.

Attendees: Jack Brown, Jon Decker, Mike Hegarty, Alan Reed, Fred Verzone, Carlos Woosley, and camp director Ed Sidlasky.

1. Ed Sidlasky reviewed the criteria for the June WCOA camp, with various topics to be reviewed by the board. He discussed the format, the schedules and the clinicians with assigned duties. Also reviewed were the basics for camper reviews, feedback and topics for camper instructions. The list of campers was reviewed as well as which WCOA members would be attending as clinicians.

2. Agard-Jones was selected by the camp director to lead the instruction at the 2-man St. Leo camp in July.
 

3. Sonny Hester, a Hillsborough County affiliated FHSAA board member, will be the guest speaker at the WCOA USF camp.

4. The board discussed officials they want to see this summer. Each board member will call several officials each to encourage them to go camp. Each member of WCOA should go to the website and read the playoff crew requirements, as camp attendance is a prime requirement.
