As Alan Reed has resigned to enter the coaching profession, the board voted unanimously to select Nolan Padgett to replace Alan for the remainder of the term of basketball vice president.

The 2006 basketball camp dates have been finalized  as USF-June 9-11, St. Leo I-June 2-3, St. Leo II-July 7-8, and a Zephyrhills shootout-June 17. Details will be finalized and published to members as soon as they are established.

Two new HS will be opening this fall in Hillsborough County, Spotto(Progress Village) and Leonard(Gibsonton).

The board voted unanimously to extend contract offers to Pasco High, Wiregrass High, and Zephyrhills High.

Additional discussion involved summer activities, plans for the upcoming season and the establishment of meeting and training dates for 2006-97.
