Subject: General Meeting and First Football/Basketball Meeting

1. Our general meeting for the beginning of Fiscal Year 05/06 will be held on Monday, 18 July 2005 at 6:30 PM. The meeting site will be at the Berkeley Preparatory School Gym. It is very important that all members attend this meeting to insure that everyone understands the changes in FHSAA requirements. Several FHSAA awards for both football and basketball will be given out also. Our first football meeting and a short basketball meeting will follow the general meeting.

2. FHSAA Registation You are reminded of the deadlines for FHSAA registration listed below:

Football - 15 July 2005 Basketball - 2 September 2005

It is recommended by FHSAA that you register online at www.fhsaa.org. If you choose to make a copy of the registration form to submit to FHSAA by mail, you will be charged a $10.00 handling fee.

Important: You are reminded that to be eligible to work Western Conference contests, you must score 80 or above on the closed book exam. If you desire to take the open book exam, you must indicate that fact on your FHSAA registration by placing 00 in the exam site block on the form. Anyone taking the open book exam will automatically be classified as Rank 3 by FHSAA.

3. WCOA Registration WCOA forms will be available at the meeting.

Football $50.00 Football ECO $30.00 Basketball $40.00

Football/basketball $75.00 New Official per sport $30.00

4. Football Officials Only Our first regular meeting for the coming year will be held immediately after the conclusion of the general meeting. Please make an effort to attend and register to aid us in our planning. Rule books will be issued to those who register. Since we will not have an all-day clinic in August, it is important that you attend all of our pre-season meetings. Below are listed the key dates for your planning:
